Motivational Interviewing in Coaching and Change Communication

This course is for anyone who works with people – Healthcare Professionals, Community Workers, and even team leaders and managers. It will help you in developing essential communication skills to help guide you to facilitate positive interpersonal rapport, relationships and where appropriate, change, where it’s needed, whenever it’s needed. Every participant will leave equipped with practical tested strategies to approach patients, clients, and team members to talk about and motivate them towards behavioural change.

Susan Tan has spent years lecturing in healthcare at Asia’s Leading Medical School, NUS and NTU School of Social Sciences and Ageing Research Institute for Society & Education. She is the President  of the Society of Behavioural Health Singapore. She is a member of the Advisory Board for the Healthy Longevity Medicine Clinic at Alexandra Hospital.

In the last 20 years, Susan has conducted over 1000 training seminars on health, wellbeing, aged care and healthcare and audited hundreds of work training programs for the Work Development Authority Singapore (now Workforce Singapore).
